It's a life changing experience, you can feel his fear, his panic. It's amazing how such a narrative can make you think of what you have in life even if you didn't really go through something so shocking. I had actually, at some point, thought that he was going to fall and just for a yellow sheet of paper! no matter how important it was for him, that's no excuse. Thankfully he made it and changed for good. Things like near-death experiences makes you see your life so much clearer like having an epiphany. I think it's one of the best things that can happen to someone, not exactly the near-death experience but its effect, because you clear out your head and makes it much easier for you to look forward, to know what you want.
